Mouth flling, rich and refreshing. New Zealand Pinot Gris is more akin to Alsace in style than the drier Pinot Grigio, with hints of apple, pear and honeysuckles. Much of New Zealand Pinot Gris undergoes a small amount of barrel aging, with wild yeasts and less stirring for complexity.
- Colour Appearance: Pale Straw
- Tasting Notes: Highly appealing rich fruity flavours. Pear and apple nose complimented by bold and intense flavours of grapefruit for a lasting and spirited fnish.
- Food matching: Great compliment to a flavourful chicken dish or aged cheese. The gentle acidity and marked fruitiness of this well balanced Pinot Gris perfectly compliment roast pork with a stewed pear sauce.
